I've been working on this slowly over the last few weeks when I was able to find time and wasn't exhausted. I reckon I put maybe 25 hours into this altogether. I'm relatively pleased with how it came out considering I wasn't rushing it and just took my time. Thinking things through really helped too, such as where the light was coming from, how intense it was, how it fell on the figure and the overall focal points. The approach I took to it worked out really well too. Otherwise theres a few of things that could be improved but I'll endeavour to work on them in future paintings

Wow. REALLY wonderful stuff. Effective use of the lighting, along with a great sense of SF-style action to the pose. That's great crinkly clothing, too.
