I love Goache work, this is the first time i've seen it on wood, it works amazingly well.

Simply beautiful. I realy like the cleaness of it, the technique is quite interesting, the wood texture simply shows and gives it a rather natural and flowing look.
Even though it is a violent and savage scene one can't look away

thanks :3 not many people notice that the lion has been run through by the unicorns horn and that its kinda a no-win situation, although it does look as though the lion has the favour here.

I have read stardust (havent seen the movie yet though! i want too!) but the fight between the lion and the unicorn is actually a classic childrens nursery rhyme that goes " The lion and the unicorn were fighting for the crown

i know that. it's actually a reference in a lot of neil gaiman novels. but it's just not in the movie cuz they ran out of moneys. that's a big problem with the world, moneys. but yeah, this was a really cool picture. i really liked it. ^^
