This is actually really profound.
I was gonna add that it was way more that than other stuff from you in the sidebar, but then I clicked your Gallery and found out that your newer Featured stuff is definitely like this and on this level, whereas the stuff dA was showing me in the sidebar was different. It was fun to click something there and see you used Crayola pencils for that because Crayola= LOL.

But back to this piece. WOW. 
It's hard to describe this yet easy to feel it at the same time. I mean, it really does look like hugging an imaginary friend, and with the description, it really does look like it could be inspired by pom poms and party hats. Of course, without the description, it wouldn't LOOK like that, but it would FEEL like that.
Also, speaking of that, it feels like you painted something that doesn't look quite like a hug (not clearly), but more importantly, FEELS like a hug! I don't know how you did that, but that's amazing. Far more amazing than just painting a hug is. Wow.

And then there's this safe warmth on one side with an imaginary friend with two hats in between with childishly spooky darkness on the other side, like the being is coming from a dark space of imagination, and it doesn't seem to be paying attention to the hugger, as if it's thinking more about making sure they are safe than making sure they are loved, because it loves them, and it has to make sure the stuff behind it is still safe over there .
Colors and shapes amaze here.
