Description
Because of the way I work, it's pretty hard to take real process shots. I tend to go over several pages at once and finish them out of order. Still, I hoped this helped a little, or at least gave you some insight as to how I drawHappy day after fourth of July!

Can we see some of your crosshatching techniques? I love the rough, scratchy feel you get from it, but I tend to be a bit too smooth to get it down properly.

Maybe during winter break. That would make an interesting tutorial.

So would you say it would be harder to do it all digitally or it just wouldn't look as good?

I don't think I'd ever be able to duplicate the brush effect--in cases of ink and watercolor, I think it's always better to start traditionally, because it's the texture that you're really looking for and want to preserve.
