Thanks so much! I'm not gonna go into depth about the process, but you can learn a lot by looking up metal shading tutorials and the like!
ALSO if you have access to photoshop, there's a lot of layer styles that are downloadable out there that turn lines/text into metal, and those can be used too :> I prefer to handpaint mine, but they work inna pinch!

Character Info:
- Crow ;; cismale, chinese canadian. pretty new to the vagabond lifestyle that raven has gotten him into. he's pretty goofy, fairly quiet and kind of dorky. little bit shy. he's about 6 inches shorter than raven.
- Raven ;; non binary british - jamaican, prefers androgynous looks most of the time, but has v feminine or fairly masculine days, feel free to play around with the presentation of this! ( is bodily female and has v small breasts, usually wears rly baggy clothes on the more masculine days, otherwise they don't care either way. ) been living out of a tent for years, and is extremely chill about pretty much everything. casual pot smoker.
Misc: they have matching tattoos on the insides of their wrists, left hand for raven and right hand for crow. it's a raven and a crow sitting on a telephone wire, with 01.27 ( their anniversary, big gays ) underneath it. the ' wire ' wraps around their wrist to the front. the tats are positioned so when they hold hands, you can see the raven on crow's wrist and the crow on raven's and they kinda match up. :'D
crow likes to play with raven's hair. they let him chalk it diff colors or tie it up in different styles. sometimes he ties their hair up with his bandanna. ,,, and sometimes he has to pluck twigs and leaves out of their hair bc that's what u get when u sleep outside all the time.
raven loves to steal crow's sweaters and shorts, even if they're a bit small on them. maybe especially bc they are so it shows off their tat more.
they have their keychains on their camping backpacks, both white. raven also has a sew on patch of a magpie on their bag.
