We watched this tornado form in our backyard. I was scared to death, but I still kept taking pictures through it all. I'm really surprised that our power is already up. The lines have all been knocked down in town. I saw them. And trees everywhere and a few crushed buildings. This was taken in Jefferson County, Georgia.Related content

I used to live in Georgia, and while I've never seen a tornado, I used to always be scared one would hit near our house.

Good thing your ok. One person died in Atlanta? Not sure, but I was down town when we had a warning. I chickened out so I didn't get any good shots.

Yeah, I heard that two died in Atlanta. Fortunately everyone in our small town is okay. Believe me, I was scared to death, I expected that thing to change course and come for me. X.x But for some reason I couldn't move.
Thanks. I had pictures where you could see it better, but this was the most artistic. ^^ I'm rather happy I took pictures - they showed them on the news.
