Gosh you've found it, Sarah!

This is the very rare Fuzzy Georgian Wonderweed (Admirabilis sarah-janae)! Only two plants of this species have been known before, one of them found by a guy named Ch. Columbus in 1493 and the other by Benjamin Franklin in 1804. It's terrificly hard to find, cuz after staying underground as a seed for 1,450,000 years, it rapidly emerges, flowers only for the very short time of approximately 4 seconds and then sets seeds and dies back within further 3 minutes.
