Here's kind of a fake screenshot I decided to make featuring my favorite trio of young otters from my childhood, because I've been in a PB&J Otter mood lately. Also, I was listening to a bunch of 1990's Eurodance music while making this, even though it's not my favorite music genre (I do think that Eurodance sounds cool and catchy).

As I was listening to Eurodance songs, it gave me an idea for a possible AU. We know that PB&J came from the late 90's, so they must have been around while 90's Eurodance music was popular. Well, my possible AU idea was going to be this. What if PB&J Otter themselves were originally featured as the animated mascots for a (possibly short-lived) Eurodance group that made songs for kids from 1995-1997, before PB&J got their own show on Playhouse Disney in 1998? The music videos for these songs would have been broadcast on the Disney Channel at the time, of course, and the animated sequences of each music video would be provided by Jumbo Pictures (just like the PB&J Otter cartoon that would have followed).

Now, for this "fake screencap" was mostly made in MS Paint, then I used GIMP to add a "blurry" effect to try and make it a little more "authentic", as well as dimming the colors just a bit. The background has a typical 90's look to it, since that's what I was going for here.

What do you think people would have thought of PB&J Otter being featured in Eurodance songs before coming to Playhouse Disney? I guess some people who don't like otters might have found them annoying, but others, like me, would have loved to see these guys.
