Description My first time drawing anything from Death Note. EVER.

Quote: "On a cold, wet afternoon in a room full of emptyness... (I cut out a piece here) ...I confess I was lost in the pages of a book full of death..."
If I got part of that quote wrong, I can't find the lyrics FOR SURE anywhere...

I heard the song "Like a Stone" from Audioslave about 2 or 3 weeks ago. The first few lines fit almost too perfectly... I finally found a pic from the manga that would fit, and drew it up.

I don't like the lettering, so I'll probably redo it, or at least straighten it.

I admire your tenacity to actually draw out that sort of font instead of typing it. I would have immense trouble finding the patience to do that.

Good, keep thinking that. Computers are great, but a lot of times they give artists an excuse to be lazy. I am very familiar with this. I myself am a very lazy artist.

This is a really good picture and you drew him in a style that I'm fond of.

I love the style of words, gives the picture a very interesting appearance, if the style were different I would have to say it would look a little lame.

I love the creases on his shirt, really does give him and the shirt a realistic look.

ghetto schanning is when you take a picture of your art with a camera and edit it to make it look better on the computer.

but... that series had such a terrible ending... the writer was very clearly just trying to get the ending out of the way....

Oh well, still very good art, and the lettering's just fine. It fits the feel of the drawing quite nicely.
