this piece was one of the most emotionally-challenging ones to write, not gonna lie. No words can describe what Gale means to Illsa, and she just couldn't not see him off to his next adventure, along with Tempest who she trusts will keep her bond-brother safe, and Mortimer, who will keep thESE two safe. What more can I say, I'm endlessly proud and touched to have been a part of these characters' story, and to see it continuing outside of group is absolutely beautiful and exciting ;;--;; Some bonds just run deep, man ;-;
