I wanted to throw at least something here to mark my return, but I didn't have time to make anything before I left to my friend's place. ... Then I happened to browse through my old files in photobucket, and found this.It's ages old (I posted the first panel here in 2010?) but I still like it. Well, it has the Ringleader and zombies, so what's there's not to like? except the crappy artwork
Added some gray tones and wrote the speech bubbles clean to make it a bit more lookable. I swear I will never edit anything on my laptop anymore.

Would the Ringleader actually raise ticket prices if something like this were to occur, I wouldn't put it past him. Also could Marik eat zombie flesh without becoming infected/dying. If he could would Akefia allow him to hunt, maybe herd Zombies toward survivors, to get them to seek sanctuary in his circus...

He just might, after all, keeping those zombies away is hard work so obviously the raise in the ticket prices is well-deserved.
Whether or not Marik would be able to eat zombie flesh without becoming infected/dying would completely rely on what's the underlying cause behind the zombie outbreak. If it was a virus or some, there would be a chance that the flesh would carry the virus even after the zombie is seemingly dead for good, so I doubt Ringleader would allow Marik to touch that- unless he decided he wanted a zombie lion. Just imagine what a sight that would be.
I don't see Akefia having desire for any survivors to actively seek sanctuary from his circus. There would be very little from him to gain from it, so for all he cares, the people could just keep dying outside.

That would be a sight, though I get the feeling that with all the experimentation done on Marik his immune system was probably augmented, I mean does he get normal human illnesses. He could charge rent for how long they hide out on his grounds, also talk about a captive audience.

Marik's immune system isn't notably stronger than that of a normal human, but some of the human illnesses are not capable of infecting him anymore due to his half-animal half-human being. However, now his animal side can contract some of the feline illnesses that wouldn't normally affect humans. So it's sorta 'win some, lose some' situation for him.
From Akefia's viewpoint, the downsides in having people in paying rent would probably overrule the benefit of getting some extra income. Having a captive audience, on the other hand... now that could be an idea worth working with.

Yes I could see Akefia having a lot of fun with that. After all the show would never have to end. Also if Marik can't contract some human illnesses than if the Zombie plague is restricted to human hosts, he might be immune to it, but probably better not to test that out though.
Also I found your ask blog, and sucks the issues you're having, I've actually submitted a *couch* dozen *cough* questions, I would love to see them answered obviously, but this is your show, well Akefia's anyway.
