This looks pretty good, as far as animations go. While not exactly an original idea, it is executed fairly well. It is extremely fluid and moves well, I don't see any glitches in it, so I would say its pretty well done for what it is. However, the tail is a bit jumpy, almost like it should be moving but isn't. Likely that can be attributed to focusing on the cat's legs and body movements rather than the tail. I rather like it, as far as cat animations go, it's not bad. Perhaps you would do well to try a shaded and dynamic color version next? That might be interesting to see, it may well add a good bit to this one if you were to take that path.

i tried making a run cycle once..... the result was horrifying
