"Ulug-Kor is one of the most unforgiving places to live; burning sands and deceitful mirages claimed many lives across the ages, and it is commonly believed that only a madman would deliberately choose to inhabit this place, forsaken even by gods.

Strangely, many orkish tribes call this sea of sand their home. Stranger still, the desert is littered with remains of pilgrims, who attempt to cross it on a regular basis.

This begs the question: What is this place's strange allure? What is the mysterious pull, calling so many to the sweltering heart of this golden wasteland?

The answer is simple.

Among the quicksands and dunes always ready to swallow imprudent travellers, the shrine of Mother Prophetess stands tall and proud; countless offerings sway lazily in the breeze, reflecting the sunlight like hundreds of tiny mirrors.

The dragoness rarely speaks, and yet Her name is spoken in countless languages. She is the Nameless One of Many Names; the Morning Dew and Evening Whisper; the Mother of Orphans; She Who Cannot Be Perceived.

Prophetess sees all pasts, presents, and futures simultaneously; Her inconceivable wisdom is said to have enlightened those lucky enough to reach Her; Her very presence is believed to fill people with endless inspiration, and understanding of the times and practices long gone.

All this makes Her revered as much as any sanctified figure; and thus many dare to take part in the deadly pilgrimage to Ulug-Kor, hoping to catch even the tiniest glimpse of Mother's majestic features."
