Description
This is the second painting I did in memory of my mum's birthday, since I wasn't happy with the Pride and Prejudice one I made before it.I seem to have a serious thing for angels and one night I remember a pose a friend, made for me to use but I never felt it was the right time until now. I was going to do the angel all in white but I knew I had to add red somewhere on her because that was mum's favourite colour.
I just hope my guardian, looks after my mum for me in heaven.
This is my creation and very personal to me so please! Don't use her.

Well done with light/ shadows, shading and all that. The contrast of the color scheme is pleasant and warm, which is good for a guardian ( sorry for spelling!) angel to have.
Good glow around her; hello, she IS an angel, and I like it when an artist gives these beings some heavenly light.
Form and shape is also well done, especially with the way the wings curve around her. I can tell that you didn't try to just copy one side onto the over, (which I have seen people do before) and which I don't like. If you look at a bird, the feathers arn't going to be in the EXACT same pace on each side, so why draw angel wings that way?
This is an awesome, warm picture and I'm sure that your mother loves it dearly.

I wasn't even sure how to shade and get the colours in right when I started it so I'm really pleased they turned out so well. ^^
I'm am really relieved that the glow around her worked! 
I'm glad you like the wings.^^ I have budgies and I know from watching them that some feathers stick out at angles or there are just small differences of something so I have never wanted the wings to match exactly. Just look similar.

Oh this is beautiful! She is lovely, exotic, heavenly, and beautiful. I cannot express my love for this completely! You are so gifted and this is one of my favorite angel pieces.
