That's a sad reality that many artists face, though I realised awhile ago,

It doesn't matter what they care about, you're the artist and you're simply doing what you love, no one has the right to judge you.

I'm really glad that I got to read this comic, thank you for highlighting such an important issue.

A great comic that truly speaks for plenty of people, even I faced such doubts before, and it's so nice and inspiring to see this comic as it relates to a lot of people who are struggling with this internal battle. Basically, I think the message is really inspiring!   As usual you do a great job in your art  keep up the awesome work mein bruder!

yeah it's true , sometimes i feel like giving up but i just realised  something;

drawing is my treasured passion and i have grown and improved drawing at the same time since the day i began to scribble on a piece of paper. If i would have give up totally, of course i have lost my passion and hope for my future. I draw whatever i want, no matter what people to expect, at least i am satisfied enough with my arts and i have a bunch of friends who keeps supporting me even though it's just a small number but some day in the future, i ( and even you ) will have a large number of supporters or friends (internet or irl, whatever ). 

so anyway, don't feel like you're not worth it, but some day in the future you'll be recognized if you keep practice.

A drawing never really does end up the way you'd expect it to be, sometimes you'd hate your own work. However, ask yourself: "Would people request these things if they didn't like my art?"

It hurts to see other artists having the same problem as me.
Giving up wont do anything and get ya anywhere but doing our best and never giving up will put us somewhere.

This giving up stuff is similia to the word "I'll die for my love ones" thats the words of the weak if you love this you wont give up "if you really love them you should live for them"in other words.

This is a very deep message because I feel the same way..// whenever I stray off of doing my OC's or an idea I really like and do fan art of something it always gets more attention than my own ideas..// but despite it making me popular and giving me attention I stick to my own ideas and keep my originality because that's what people look at me for.. So keep up the work! Original ideas is what keeps the world moving so why stop drawing what you want for a change? c':

I'm the same. Ever since I've bullied for the way I draw and my art style, I've always been paranoid about showing my drawings/art to others.
Because every single time I do, my mind's always going:

Will they like it?
Will they hate it?
Will they bully me for the way I draw?
Will they push me aside because, they're jealous of my drawings?

And I've been bullied heavily, because of my drawing style and the odd way that I draw (It's stopped now but it was REALLY bad back when I was 15, because students back then always believed that "nobody develops their artstyle, it always stays the same" and it really frigging annoyed me, that they saw it that way).

So I hope that this comic that you made, will reach out to those who are like you and me, and still have faith in their drawings, because everyone changes the way they draw at some point.

Its pretty selfish... to think that people simply hate whatever you want to draw vs what they wanted to see because they didn't get something they really wanted...

but you know as long as you enjoy what you draw, who cares?
