Super excited to present my custom figure of Scylla, worked really hard on her and trust me, being painfully aware of how limited my skill is as a sculptor I'm actually quite jazzed with how she turned out. I still hope for some kind of official/licensed toy someday of course, but in the meantime I'm dang happy with this bad girl. Threw in the pic of the NECA Godzilla 2019 for size comparison, and I'm happy to say she's not too far off scale-wise.

Yea, I didn't have much to go with either. I heard from the actual modeler for the film, after he saw my model, he said I nailed it almost exactly. But the Ammonite spiral shell is not in the final model used in the movie, but was a working concept at one point. So, my model is inaccurate there. but I think it looks cool, so I left it.Β

Thanks dude, it's a case here in the detailing of unfortunately having to do the best with the limited tools I have at my disposal, but it's a lot better than my olden days of making them out of glued together T-shirts and stuffing.

Daw, thanks dude.Β It's been nice learning little tricks, and picking up small tools at Hobby Lobby has really helped on the finer details.Β My best friend though was learning how to do dry brushing, it's done more to help the details pop than anything else.
