If only humans and kaiju could live together in harmony. THEN we would have peace.

That is a very powerful image. And that mainly stems from the fact that this is a graphic novel like interpertaition of the scene....rather than a straight photo image. You are carrying over the idea of what the scene was suppose to be. The ravages of a city burning in the background...a demon from hell expelling his venoums breath upon the landscape. (Btw, I like how you did Godzilla's Breath here. I was put off at first by the intangiable smoke like effect; mainly cause I am a fan of the straight forward beam like fire; but it works here because it adds to that dream like feel that this has.)

Thanks man, I thought this one deserved a little bit more poetry to it. I like the straight beam too, but in keeping with the "hose sprayer" employed on the puppet I just thought it would be fitting, but I like your interpretation too I was just waiting for somebody to make the crack though that now all those cute little girls are going to be showered in pure radiation poisoning.

Is it ironic that Godzilla's most terrifying and serious incarnation eventually became his most heroic?
I know there's a metaphor there somewhere...but what can I say I'm not as poetic as the guy above.

Akira Takarda once said that Godzilla was an actor, doing the job the people wanted and needed him to be. I like to think of him that way, the creature himself an actor serving the needs of the viewer, be it dreadful beast or hero to big-eyed children, because like a real actor it gives him range and endearing quality.

Now that you mention it, as an actor.
You ever think Godzilla ever had one of those Christian Bale freakout moments?

With Bryan Cranston's opinion of the guy I find that incredibly likely.

In my opinion I wouldn't take the Big G for that big of a drama queen. I'd picture him as more of the quiet Viggo Mortensen type, just 300 feet tall.

Very deep man. This was an intense part of the movie, and the song is so beautiful.

Thanks dude, I like to hope that more stuff like this will encourage other artists to similar, I've always liked "scene" pics in addition to the usual kaiju vs. kaiju art.

Indeed, I mostly draw funny art but mostly my OCs interacting with characters.

Appreciation, oh kingly one. It's always great when you kinda get a BANG image in your head, you draw it, and it actually turns out just the way you wanted it to.
