Chapter 1
Year- 2017
Location- Monster Island
Godzilla walks over to his 17-year-old son, Godzilla Junior, who is asleep in their cave in the side of a large mountain. He nudges and gently pushes at him to wake him up, all the while, Junior resists and mumbles “Come on dad, just five more minutes.” Godzilla then says to him “Get up. You need to train with me and your uncle.” Junior then groggily gets up and walks with him down the short hill outside. Junior then says to Godzilla “Dad, why do I have to do this every day? Are you trying to prepare me for something?” Godzilla then says to him “Son, it’s a big, bad world out there, and you need to learn how to properly defend yourself against anything hostile that comes your way.” Junior replies with “I get it, but why do I have to spar with you, Uncle Legendary, or your other friends? Why can’t I fight someone else?” Godzilla then ends the conversation with “That actually is what today’s training session is about.” As the two approach the beach where Legendary resides, Legendary greets Jr. with “So, kid. You ready for what’s coming?” Junior replies with “As ready as I’ll ever be.” Legendary then gives off a short chuckle and says “Well, all right then. Let’s head to the middle of the island, and that’s where you’ll meet your opponents.” The three then head to their destination, with Junior filled with excitement, curiosity, and apprehension of what lies ahead.
