Chapter 6

Back on Monster Island, Junior was just waking up when Anguirus blurted “Mornin’ sunshine! Sleep well?” Waking Junior in the process. Junior said “Morning Anguirus. What are we doing today?” Anguirus replied “No training today. Just do what you want.” Junior said “Yes! Thanks Anguirus!” Anguirus then said “Just don’t get into trouble.” Junior replied “Got it. Will do!” As he walked off to meet up with his friends. Along the way, Junior heard roars coming from the ocean. He saw lightning coming from the ocean, and up from the depths came Ebirah and a young Turqoise kaiju, similar to Junior. She held Ebirah’s claws away from her as she roared, biting down on his claw, instantly cracking through Ebirah’s hard shell. Ebirah shrieked out of pain and threw her off. Her spines then glow blue, as electricity courses through them. She then opens her mouth and releases a beam of electricity, shocking ebirah, and blasting off his wounded claw. Ebirah dove down in shame, retreating to save his life. The female kaiju roared in victory, moving toward shore. Junior silently watched her, going unnoticed as she walked up onto the beach. He watched as she made her way through the forest, he stepped on a log, snapping it under his foot. The female kaiju noticed, then opened her hand and blasted repeated electric beams from her hand, with Junior constantly dodging it, finally being knocked to the ground. She moved toward him as Junior tried to back away, but she charged up again, demanding “Who are you? Why are you following me?” He said “I don’t mean any harm. I just wanted to watch you fight, honest!” She then calmed down and said “I’m sorry. I tend to let my anger get the best of me.” As she stretched out her hand, helping Junior up. She said “What’s your name?” Junior then said “Godzilla Junior. What’s yours?” She replied “Raiga.” Junior was a bit surprised to see that she was as old as him at most, considering how powerful she was. He said to her “You’re new here, right? Come on, I’ll show you around.” Junior and Raiga walked around the island where they eventually saw Junior’s friends. When they approached, Raiga was a bit wary of the new kaiju around her. Zilla then said “Did you hear? Golza and Melba are at it again.” Junior responded “What’d they do this time?” Zilla then said “I heard that they attacked Gamera, demanding that he join them or die. Obviusly, Gamera got out Ok, but Golza and Melba got a proper whuppin’.” Raiga said “Sounds like those guys got what they deserve.” Zilla then said “Heh, I could take them down easily.” Junior then said, starting to sound scared, said “I think you should watch what you say, Zilla.” Zilla, not noticing the danger behind him said “Those two idiots couldn’t kill a fly, let alone a kaiju.” A voice then spoke “WHAT!! Us, idiots!?” Zilla, realizing who was there, began so speak. “Hehe, erm, we should get going. We don’t want any trouble.” Suddenly, Melba came behind the young ones, blocking their exit. Golza then said “Ohoho, sorry, kids, you’re in a whole heap of it.” Raiga then took action and used her long red claws to slash deep wounds in Golza’s arm, causing him to yowl in pain. He then said, angered “Fine, you’ll die first.” Suddenly, a roar was heard. It was revealed to have come from the great dinosaur, Gorosaurus, with Rodan and Anguirus in tow. Gorosaurus then used his kick to knock Melba off his feet, but Melba caught himself and proceeded to get into a dogfight with Rodan. Gorosaurus then took on Golza. Gorosaurus clamped onto Golza’s neck armor, using his small arms to inflict slashes on Golza’s unarmored skin. Golza then shook him off and bit down on Gorosaurus’ arm. Gorosaurus then fought back by using his kick on Golza’s leg, snapping his leg bone, forcing it to jut out of his shin. Golza fell, then began to burrow, with Gorosaurus biting onto his tail, holding him to prevent his escape. Rodan was losing the fight with Melba when Raiga said “Hey, birdbrain! Down here!” Melba then dove down, ready to slice into Raiga’s hide. Raiga then charged her electricity and blasted from her mouth and hands, obliterating Melba. Golza, desperate to escape, swung his tail to the side to throw Gorosaurus off. Golza, now free, yet crippled, burrowed down to parts unknown, waiting for his return to avenge his friend. Anguirus and Rodan then worriedly checked on Junior, making sure he was Ok. Anguirus and Rodan breathed a sigh of relief, glad that Godzilla will have nothing to fear. Raiga said, before Anguirus and Rodan left with Junior. “I like this place. I think I’ll stay here for a while.” Junior then said “Glad to hear that.” As the two went their separate ways.
