Godzilla- Protectors of Earth
A Godzilla fan-story by Jacob F
Prologue (year-2000)
Location- Monster Island

- All is quiet on Monster Island’s shoreline. Not a creature is awake, especially at this late hour. Suddenly, a row of large, purple dorsal spines slowly rise out of the water. It is seen that Godzilla is coming ashore. He looks left and right, checking if the coast is clear. He then turns and says ”It’s OK, Bijira, you can come up now”. Suddenly, another kaiju rises out of the water. As it turns out, this is a female Godzilla known as Bijira, and Godzilla’s mate, who is currently expecting. She looks around at the beautiful jungles and the vast plains. “I don’t know, Godzilla”, she says concerned, “Do you think this place is safe for me and the baby?” Godzilla then reassures her, saying “Don’t worry, I’ve got friends here who will fight to the death to protect you and our child.” Bijira then says, “All right, if you say so”. As she and Godzilla move closer and nuzzle one another, they hear rustling among the trees. Godzilla then says concerned “Get behind me, Quick!” He then calls out “Show yourself, coward!” as he prepares to fight, teeth bared. Then, out of the forest appears Anguirus, one of Godzilla’s many friends on the island. Godzilla then calls out excitedly “Hey, Anguirus! How have you been, buddy?” Anguirus then responds with ” I’m fine. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I want to hear about you and Bijira. Rumor has it you two finally got hitched.” Godzilla then gave a slight chuckle and said to Anguirus ”Yeah, a few months ago.” Anguirus then said “Well, that’s great! Congratulations, you two!” He then looked at her and said “Hmm, you look different, but I can’t put my finger on it.” “Oh, that’s because I’m pregnant.” She then said. Anguirus’ eyes widened and he said with a smile of disbelief “Really! Well, congratulations! I’m so happy for you guys! I’ll go get everyone else, you two stay here!” as he disappeared into the thick forest. Godzilla then said to Bijira ”See? You’re perfectly safe here.” Bijira then responded ”I’ll admit, you were right. I just hope that it grows up happy and safe.” Anguirus then came back with many of Godzilla’s friends, including Gamera, Gorosaurus, Varan, Manda, Baragon, Gojirin, and Rodan. The two were welcomed to Monster Island warmly by Godzilla’s friends. As they began talking, Godzilla then heard a roar in the distance, one that was very familiar to him. It was his brother, Legendary, who said to him ”Hey bro, I heard about the new addition. Can’t wait to meet the little guy.” Godzilla then smiled at him and said “I’m so glad you’re here, Legendary, it’s going to be great having you around so the little one can bond with his uncle.” Legendary said back to him “It’s great to be here, big bro, I’m happy for you, I really am. I’m glad to help you with this family you’ve started.” After that, Godzilla’s friends and legendary helped settle them in, optimistic for the future.
