Chapter 8
Kyomyraxus fumed out of rage at the fact that The Assassin failed, mainly because he saw Jeikudon’s beam shooting him into space. “How can I kill him!?” He raged on and on, until he came to a conclusion. “If you want something done right, you do it yourself. Anchoron! Torkorus! Dreegora! It’s time we take matters into our own claws. We’re going to give my nephew a little visit.” Jeikudon and Raikura sat together under the stars as they gently cuddled one another. Jeikudon kissed her cheek, and she blushed intensely. She looked at him with a gentle smile, and they kissed, gently holding the other in their arms. They got back to camp where everyone was in their tents, ready for the battle to come. The two each went to their separate tents after they arrived back at camp. Later, Raikura heard a voice, and followed. She found herself led away from the camp. She saw Jeikudon being knocked down by Torkorus, Anchoron, and Dreegora. She was about to help, but three long arms wrapped around her, restraining her. Kyomyraxus then said “So, you’re my nephew’s little girlfriend, aren’t you?” He chuckled. He then said “If only you knew.” Raikura then shouted “What! Knew what!? Jeikudon, What’s he talking about?” Jeikudon sat, his head facing the ground. Kyomyraxus said “You’re in for a big surprise.” As the three henchmen beat Jeikudon, he felt intense rage. His spines glowed orange, and he shook them off. Torkorus was quickly thrown to the side, while he threw the other two in different directions. Kyomyraxus exclaimed “Behold! The monster he really is!” Jeikudon then struggled, throwing himself around. Kyomyraxus let Raikura go, while she was too concerned about him, Kyomyraxus and his minions got up, and Kyomyraxus said “Prepare yourself for the power of the Hyper Kaiju!” Jeikudon’s eyes were now quivering slits, and he turned his attention to Raikura, snarling and closing in on all fours. Raikura begged and pleaded for him to stop, as she backed away from him. Kyomyraxus said “Let’s allow my nephew to finish the job. Who knows? By the time he’s done, they’ll deem him too dangerous and kill him themselves.” The three left, and Jeikudon suddenly stopped. He snarled in effort, and a swirling cloud of dark-red energy surrounded his body. The energy dissipated into him, and his monstrous new form was revealed. He then moved closer, and as she tried to get away, he pressed his massive paw over her chest, grabbing her throat. He snarled more ferociously, and Raikura looked into his eyes in fear. Suddenly, looking into her eyes, he saw his reflection in them. He felt something in him, and for a moment, he finally saw what he had become. He closed his eyes and moaned in shame, since he could no longer speak. Suddenly, his eyes shot back open, pinning her down again. He growled, the inside of his mouth glowing orange, staring directly into her eyes. He reared up, and released a massive, trumpeting roar, as if to yell “Stay away from me!!”. He then turned around and ran off. Raikura then went back and got the others so they could retrieve Jeikudon. They called out for him, but they saw him in a clearing beyond the forest, pacing and trying to control himself, thrashing violently. Raikura tried to reason with him “Please! Don’t do this! We’re your friends, remember!? I’m your girlfriend!” He grunted and growled as she moved closer, until he fired his orange spiral ray near her, intentionally missing her. He moaned looking back at her, as if to say “Please, I don’t want you around for this.” Suddenly a stranger came to them. They wore a robe, making sure to hide their face. The voice that came out was soft and female. She said “We need to get to higher ground. He won’t be able to fire at us from up there.” Raikura asked her as they headed up the cliffs “We’re not going to hurt him right? We’re going to stop it?” The voice spoke “It can’t be stopped. It has to reach its highest point, then it will stop.” Jeikudon ran through the field, until he stopped and shot a spiral ray from his mouth involuntarily. After he stopped firing, smoke came out of his mouth, spines, and chest mark. The rest watched from the cliff as he fired from his spines, mouth, and chest mark. The entire clearing was on fire or scorched, and the beams shot in all directions as he uncontrollably shot them and thrashed. Eventually, he ran out of energy, and he returned to his normal form. Raikura and the rest quickly made their way down, as Jeikudon stood, breathing heavily. He fell down as his skin turned gray, signifying that he has no energy left. Raikura then exclaimed worried “Is he dead!?” The stranger said “He needs time to regenerate his energy, only then will he awaken.” They then took Jeikudon back to camp, while the stranger left. Raikura asked “Who are you?” The stranger looked back, about to speak, but turned back and continued walking. The rest then set Jeikudon in his tent, making sure not to injure him further.
