The south Pacific proved a treasure trove of ancient creatures hidden on long forgotten islands that were once the breeding sanctuaries for the Megadinosaurs. On one such island a young creature the natives called Gappa, was caught and sailed back to Japan but the twelve meter baby called out in fear and roused his parents from the island's center and they took out after their baby. The baby Gappa was put on display and his misery could feel it and their rage would bring the country to it's knees. The adult 52 meter kaiju landed and began to rip the city of Tokyo to bits in search of their child and every building that failed to house their baby was crushed in rage as their wings caused gale force winds to send debris everywhere and from their mouthes heat beams like that of Godzilla, incinerated the city and man's mightiest weapons proved useless to stop them. it was finally decided to release the baby monster to his parents and only this was able to stop their rampage and the three monsters flew back to their isle. A year later in 1968 the Gappa family was moved to monster island.
