The most powerful of the ancient Megadinosaurs was found on Odo island in 1954 and it would be called Godzilla, after crushing the village on the island the 50 meter kaiju made his way to Tokyo where he destroyed 45% of the city and was only killed when reclusive scientist Serizawa used his now legendary weapon, the oxygen destroyer, that would mutate tiny crustaceans laying dormant since before the dinosaurs, and reduced Godzilla to bones that would eventually find there way back to conflict with humans. Another Godzilla was found on a tiny rocky island, in a territorial battle with another megadinosaur Angilas. The two beasts fall into the sea and their battle eventually led them to Osaka where they destroyed the city and Angilas is badly wounded and burned by Godzilla's heat ray and slinks into the sea while Godzilla heads back to the sea and is followed by the JDSF to the high arctic where they bury him under many tons of ice and rock where he would remain til 1962. Godzilla would return to the world after the USS submarine Seahawk crushes into the iceberg containing the saurian and he destroys the sub and heads for japan where he would do battle with King Kong and would fall into the sea with his hairy foe and separate . In 1963 Godzilla would be caught in a typhoon and wash ashore on Japan and once again tear through Tokyo but at the same time the egg of the kaiju Mothra, washes ashore in a different part of Japan. Whether curious or intent on destroying the egg, mothra would not have it and went into battle with Godzilla and was killed,but the larva that hatched was able to cocoon Godzilla and the monster fell into the sea to recoup from the fight. 1964 Godzilla rises from the sea at the same time as the great pterasaur Rodan reappears and the two kaiju fight in Nagasaki, while they fought the monster from another world Ghidorah had come to our world and the Mothra larva pleaded with Godzilla and Rodan to help her best the creature but they ignored her for the moment until they saw how over matched the insect was and came to her aid and together defeated Ghidorah who fled to parts unknown, from then on Godzilla and rodan decided to no longer stand against humanity but instead defend them and the world from threats only they could handle. Through the years Godzilla would face many foes and even find another of his kind in the form of Minya, the appearance of Godzilla in 1954 heralded the first age of monsters that ended in 1974 when Godzilla and King Ceasar destroyed Mechagodzilla.
