Shin Godzilla is going to win. Why ? Because it's a Form created by Toho Pictures and not by People that only want to get rich.Β

Toho or not, shin got fucked up by a conventional weapon.

Okay you replied about a year ago.. So I'm sorry I did not use Deviantart for so long. Yes, you are right, but let's be honest, the american Godzillas are not even close to what Toho created.

Awesome! I honestly think that Shin Gojira will win as he has the strongest atomic breath up to date and he can fire them from parts of his body. The thing that i don't like in Legendary is his gills...just if Shin bit them Legendary would be in great pain because if you see in the movie, when the tanks fired at his gills, he was in pain and when the MUTOs started beating him up and when HokMuto slammed down on them Shin was already in too much pain to fight and yes he has been fighting for hours but...a Godzilla that is K.Oed by a building....come on man. Shin yes fell down from buildings but not one their were multiple that fell on him and he got up quickly while for Legendary it took him a good 10 minutes. Legendary has the advantage of physical prowess and that may keep Shin at bay but....a giant tail coming to destroy your face....Legendary will be wiped on the floor and the three stages of atomic ray would destroy him. Legendary may get him with his atomic ray sometimes but and beat Shin up a bit but i honestly think that Shin would defeat him.

Interesting points. I would like to point out, however, that Shin Gojira was wounded by a non-nuclear bomb whereas Legendary Godzilla took an atom bomb to the face and was fine.

Also, Shin Gojira seems to burn out quickly and becomes exhausted multiple times whereas Legendary Godzilla chased one Muto, fought it in Hawaii, chased it to California and fought two Mutos at the same time (which was like getting hit by multiple skyscrapers) and only needed about a day to recover as opposed to Shin Gojira being out for weeks.

Guess what I'm saying is that Shin Gojira is a cannon, Legendary Godzilla is a tank. It might be closer than you think.

also take into acocunt that legendary godzilla feeds on radiation. absorbs it from his environment. meaning his very presence weakens shin godzilla. it can't retain tis radiation so it cannot defend itself from the vampirism effect. or at least by the time it tries to evolve past it godzilla has already weakened it to immobility, and would ultimately tear it apart and devour it.

SpaceTaco101 In reply to Lordoffantasy [2017-01-14 06:21:35 +0000 UTC]

wouldn't that logic apply to all the other godzillas too? if one of them would fight, then wouldn't they absorb eachothers' radiation? or what about Godzilla and his son? he didn't absorb his radiation didn't he?

I could give more info but I'm too lazy so here's a link instead

That is actually not true. The absorbing of radiation is unique to the 2014 godzilla because of its predatory nature. That is how the kaiju of his world operate. The shin godzilla however generates genergy from a mixture of a heart like dreactor and absorbing water and air to generate isotopes for fuel.

Albeit the primary difference here is that shin godzilla has immensely limited stamina to begin with. 2014 godzilla clearly had inhuman stamina, able to hunt its prey across the entire globe without rest. We only see so much of its atomic breathe attack, true, but the beast is clearly more intelligent than most. It knows that its prey is going to be more resistant to its attacks so it uses raw physical force till it can create an opening, such as pinning its prey down or blasting down the throat.
Albeit the effect of its atomic breath is sitll pretty impactful... And honestly most creatures in godzilla fights are never brought down by a single blast anyway.

Welp, I think this is a bit of a stomp. ShinG got hurt by a moab and LegendG shrugged off a god damned meteor hitting him. Legend Goji could run through shinG.

Xengix008 In reply to Knightnumber4 [2016-10-26 12:11:13 +0000 UTC]

Shin goji only got hurt by a moab because the americans aimed at the fleshy exposed parts of his back. If it were on his hide it would've bounced off like the map missiles, but knocked him back a little.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Knightnumber4 In reply to Xengix008 [2016-11-01 08:39:58 +0000 UTC]

I dont quit think that his back was vulnerable.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Xengix008 In reply to Knightnumber4 [2016-11-02 01:36:18 +0000 UTC]

well the hide was already shown very durable, that back looks all opened up so all that flesh is exposed. Sure the spines are there, but there's plenty of gaps

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Knightnumber4 In reply to Xengix008 [2016-11-05 04:53:56 +0000 UTC]

Eh, his skin was kinda crackily all over, so I doubt that hit to his back would be different from a chest shot

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

Sekley In reply to Knightnumber4 [2017-03-19 13:22:11 +0000 UTC]

I'll have to agree with Xen. The gaps between his back spikes seem to be very fleshy almost like exposed muscle tissue. Even then it had little effect on him seeing as Shin has such a rapid healing factor.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Knightnumber4 In reply to Sekley [2017-03-19 17:02:31 +0000 UTC]

the bomb was still able to break apart the armor and remove it from the flesh but the real point here is that a bomb with an 11 ton pay load was able to hurt him while Legend G was able to tank a 15 megaton bomb.

Xengix008 In reply to Knightnumber4 [2016-11-06 04:12:04 +0000 UTC]

well like i said, he did have cracked skin but most of it was thick hide, the back had even more skin showing

shinG has way more fire power then legends Godzilla

MensajerodeDiscord In reply to pikapat321 [2016-11-27 07:43:17 +0000 UTC]

Legendary Godzilla took damn Castle Bravo. Those are 15 megatons of power. And they wanted to kill Shin Gojira with a B83 Warhead which is way weaker than that.

pikapat321 In reply to MensajerodeDiscord [2016-11-28 04:44:49 +0000 UTC]

Knightnumber4 In reply to pikapat321 [2016-11-05 04:52:55 +0000 UTC]

I've seen the clips, his breath looks impressive...but it's targetted at buildings, legendG's breath was targetted at something MUCH more durable

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

pikapat321 In reply to Knightnumber4 [2016-11-05 05:58:17 +0000 UTC]

true but I didn't say ShinΒ had stronger atomic breath but he has more fire power in general with his tail, back and mouth

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Knightnumber4 In reply to pikapat321 [2016-11-05 09:10:55 +0000 UTC]

Eh, if that's your definition of fire power, then yeah. Still, the fight would be pretty one sided

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Komodozilla [2016-10-18 23:25:34 +0000 UTC]

Legendary Godzilla hands down. Though Shin Gojira's atomic breath possesses FAR more destructive might and his ability to focus it through his spines and tail gives him more varied long-range options, with his 15 day recovery time he's something of a one-shot cannon, and I doubt the blast is anything Legendary couldn't take. Plus, while Shin has a few meters height advantage he's nowhere near as muscular, and those tiny arms aren't going to grant him much in the way of defense in a physical struggle.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Yu-Gi-Nos In reply to Komodozilla [2016-11-30 16:36:44 +0000 UTC]

I agree 100% with you! I've been reviewing and rereviewing the two to form my own opinion. Yes SHin has more firepower, butΒ  Legendary Gojira is more durable. Survive that attack, and Legendary has an easy win over a dormant Shin.

I see it as a Battleship (2014 Gojira) vs Aegis Cruiser (Shin Gojira): Aegis may have the better range, but the battleship can deal more damage and (when close enough) can take out an Aegis ship (in this case, especially if Shin freezes up after attacking).
