Finally..! It took me weeks to finish this picture, not really because it was actually difficult to color, but because I kept getting interrupted >_<.Although coloring was pretty troublesome, too
. Anyway, Ed's a cutie, isn't he..? When I was coloring this picture, the quote from Emily Ravenwood's fanfic got stuck in my head... "No lover of his will ever be able to keep their fingers out of that hair." The quote had probably brainwashed me, because I just couldn't help adding more and more details to Ed's braid... I think it took me at least two hours to color just his hair ^^'.
Ekhm, and the coat...
But enough of my babbling, let's get straight *cough* to business

Software: Illustrator 10 for the lineart, Photoshop 7.0 for the coloring
Time taken: 20 min: sketch / 1 h 25 min: lineart / 4-5 hours: coloring
Coloring took me much longer that it usually does... It is the first FMA fanart I've ever made, what's more, I decided not to copy the mangaka's style, but rather try something new.
Why did it turn out to be so... pink, I have no clue

Bo... z tego rysunku wynika, ze takze Ed'owi czasem zdarza sie ze zmeczenia usnac nad ksiazka... (jak bedzie znowu za rok p... sesja, to sobie ten rysunek wydrukuje i powiesze na scianie, dla 'pokrzepienia'

This is lovely - the expression on Ed's face, the pose hinting both exhaustion and relaxation, and most of all the beautiful shading and coloring. The time you spent on it was well worth it!

While the pink is quite... pink, it adds a warm glow to the piece. It's seriouslt awesome. I've never seen a CG like that. Just awesome <3

I like the pink. The colored lighting really adds to the feel of the piece and gives it that sort of soft/warm-washed out look. The drawing is really good, year, but it's the coloring that really sticks out for me.
