Your work is varying powerful but I donβt think the cartoon animal fits in with your worlds. Itβs anticlimactic to see a butiful abrtacied otherworldly landscape with just an ordinary animal in it.
I see the jucstaposition and duality of the idea but I think your surreal land scapes are strong enough to stand alone or try to abstract your little toy dude so it keeps the viewer guessing. .... but what do i know?

It's completely arbitrary choice to break the mood with cuteness. You spotted it right.
I did some paintings without cute animals but i think putting cute and abstract together make it more "appealing" to people who dislike abstract paintings and this is a touch of joy i like to put.
