Sometimes when I get annoyed at my progress over learning how to draw the human characters I wanna like I've been trying to teach myself over the past few months, I'll stop and draw one of my OCs in the most basic, easiest pose I can think of. It's a real mentality saver and gives me the chance to just chill tf before I threaten to throw my tablet pen out the window or something. Tene's always had a fun design and I've always adored his colors for some reason, so his mini doodle actually got finished this time.He wasn't on the list of OCs I planned on keeping but--too late now, he's staying too <3Β

Ahhh Kasa, I'm glad your keeping Tene! He's always been one of my faves of yours, would have been sad if you didn't keep him. So nice to see this lovable familiar face popping up again <3
Take it easy on your human drawings, they're already looking amazing, so don't be too harsh on yourself, its always good to go back to something oh so familiar to regather yourself though!

I actually think I'm keeping more characters than I originally said I was going to just because I can't let a lot of them go. I might not draw them that often, but they mean waaay too much to me too. Now I just need an organized way to keep up with them all, I guess xD
But I'm trying not to! It's been tough, but I always find myself going back to what I'm most familiar with when I need a break from learning, so there'll be more of these little OCs doodles around I'm sure c:

Especially old characters we've all grown to love over the years. It's honestly so amazing watching how much your styles evolved and changed over the years too! You've definitely made it your own

Tene is cute though and I actually feel so bad for saying I wasn't going to keep up with him anymore too.
But also wow I'm so late in replying to this but, any time you wanna set up another art trade, I'd be cool with that! I've been sticking to my own OCs for stuff like this but I haven't done art trades in fooorever either. Just hmu <3

It's one of my favorite boys!!! 
And I do the same thing. When I'm struggling with any piece, or want to warm up first, I pull out an OC and doodle away. Really helps me too!

Both him and his sister have actually been favs of mine even though I never ever seemed to draw them back in the day?? I adored their colors and then Dimeyi and Aries kind of stepped up and stole the spotlight from them both, I think. But I'd actually love to do more with him someday!
He's such a big, flirty, lovable boy that I actually have fun doodling him <3
But it actually does help tons though. I get so frustrated trying to learn how to draw new things sometimes that pulling out an OC and just drawing something simple helps a lot. Maybe I should get around to posting those more

Tene might be the guy I get you to draw when we finally do set up that next cheetah trade too.
