Fanart. Or as John Su would call it, f'art.Played some Rocket Knight Adventures on an emulator in my CS class today. It's an awesome game. The first Konami game I ever played, back in my childhood, on the Genesis. Decided to try to pay homage to the game by pixelling some of the characters.
So here's Sparkster and Axle.

I don't like the way you drew him, you smoothed him out a lot, his lines are too circular, while the in-game's sprites gave you the impression of something more pointy and triangular. But that's your trace I guess.

Come to think of it, I bet you played Sparkster. He's fairly roundish in Rocket Knight Adventures. [link]
It wasn't until the sequels that he got all pointy. I tend to prefer the original design. And the original game, for that matter.

I also played RKA, but I played MUCH more Sparkster than it
I like the whole pointy style, it is very fitting for a character that's supposed to be fast and ready to blow, like, well, a rocket.

I could never get into Sparkster. The genesis one is... weird. Plays completely different from the original. And I didn't own an SNES, so I didn't play that version

The SNES one played almost exactly as the Genesis', I think it's a sequel.

They're both sequels (though for some reason only the Genesis one was considered canon by Konami). The Genesis one played much differently than the other two...

I did it in my style. Wouldn't have been much of a point of just redoing him in their style. It's fine that you prefer the real version to this one.

Ah, rocket Knight Adventures. A great game, even if it was another Sonic cash-in, it was pretty awesome
