did this for a midyear art contest over at [link] not very long ago,
and though i lost i got an honourable mention, which i felt that many others would have deserved that title bettter.
(my bro was like, "u sux, see so many ppl better than u")

the winner's costume design was way cool XD XD XD. absolutely futuristic and made them look more like in an anime sci-fi.

it was a real pity the other submissions were not posted for the viewing of others.

the above is the consequence of slacking off until 2 days before the deadline, resulting in a very rushed work which i couldn't spend much time correcting many mistakes i made along the way. while back pose was not compulsory, i regretted not being able to do the back view for their clothes. X(

anyhow, i enjoyed participating in this contest that got my brain juices flowing again on designing costumes, something i had always loved to do when i first started drawing seriously. i havent been designing anything funky lately, instead mostly drawing quite bare costumes. *sweats*
