Description Finished it finally...(well ok...I stopped working on it, which is the same thing!). Liv Tyler as Arwen from Lord of the Rings, slowly building up the collection!

I've been crawling along doing this for 10-15 mins a day at work, but going to call it here as I'm getting bored hehe

Drawing is about 7x10" on A4 Bristol Board using 2H - 8B pencils, with a Mars Lumo to get the black in the hair. It's the first time I've used a Mars Lumo properly as part of the drawing since my Legolas picture and it works well to get the black

I used a well known reference pic I got off Google and for those who saw my Works in Progress (In my Scrapbook ) I have blurred out the mark on her right cheek which was caused by paper damage (my fault heh...something got stuck to the paper and I tried to remove with a craft knife ) That's the only editing I've ever done (apart from colour balancing to get rid of the washout from scanning)

Anyway, Enjoy!

Wow! It's really gorgeous! Her hair is absolutely astonishing. You made really great job on it! Her face looks very real. And I believe you had a lot of fun drawing this small piece of her clothes. Fantastic!

This is beyond beautiful, it is a creation. Your details are awe-inspiring. I can't believe how you got her hair strands and the delicate pattern on her dress. Amazing!

This is awesome Jon!
I really love how you did her hair!

Too bad you couldn't remove the damage! Once I had a similar problem on one of my drawings [link]
I had a kneadable eraser lying on the color printed ref for several days, and when I used the eraser on the forehead of the middle one, I had a big fat red/brown stain on it!
But I was able to rescue it with bangs

Hmm I've tried everything but the edge of the mark has soaked up a ton of graphite and I can't shift it Ah well it will do Thanks so much for the comment
