Have you guys ever randomly had the urge to draw a sphinx?...cuz I did today lulz.
Anyway, kinda a followup to the idea I had when I did this pic ([link] ), of doing a bestiary with my version of the classical mythical monsters
.Umm...this is boring and not great (lol anatomy?!//1/?), so it'll be scrapped later, alelujah! just done for fun and really fast XD.
But I want to do other monsters O:. So far, I've done the manticore, the hydra, and the sphinx...what are you guys' faves? I have an old journal with a huge list...but feel free to list any, even if I already have them on my masterrr list. Cuz I might just do the most popular choice, if there is one...? hmm.

Actually yes, I get that urge, unfortunatly I never get one to turn out right, heh.

And yeah. I have been meaning to get a little series done of all the mythological beasts people suggest to me... but I haven't gotten around to starting it. This SO makes me want to start. It's a pity that it's night time and I can't just jump down the my floor and start painting on my watercoloreasle...
Art is so great... but... The funny thing about it is that you need light to see it. Isn't that annoying?

Hmm, favorite mythical creatures? Mmmm... I must say, I'm a unicorn fan, along with centaurs and asian dragons and... um... wereporkys! xD no, no, just kidding. A wereporky is a were-porcupine, it's a silly legend from way back when at summer camp
