This came out nicely. Personally though, if you ask me, Kalithe already looks fine the way he does without the markings. It may be simple but he's a nice type of simple. Not too boring but not too exciting either. Just right.

Thanks. I'm just toying with the idea of giving him more details. I'll do it eventually though, although it will most likely be in his anthropomorphic form (when I get around to it
1) I need to get an official reference finished.
2) Work on thinner outlines
3) Detailing!
4) Backgrounds!

No problem. Would you mind if I added something else to that picture? The sun. Usually, unless that's the focus of the picture, you shouldn't draw the sun. Instead, you can show that there's a light source (Or the sun) by doing highlights on the characters and background. You don't need to do highlights for every single picture you do but it looks nicer and more professional than drawing the sun.
