Description This is a quick little picture I whipped up for myself :3 It's Kalithe (go figure :L) and... it's a profile picture o3o Is there anything else that I should say about it? Anywho, I hope you enjoy it and junk :u

Program Used: GIMP 2.8
Tablet Used: WACOM's Bamboo Create
Time Taken: 2 Hours

P.S. I just got GIMP 2.8 and it is buggy as hell... Tips anyone? o3o

Hehe another pic of you and this one even has some depth as the white text is floating with a shadow that lies behind. I could see a bit more details on the in shading on the dragon but as the way it is I think this profile pic of you looks cute.
Also not for sure as I do not use GIMP but it sounds like 2.8 is some kind of beta version.

Thanks Aquilla! :happy bounce: I'm glad that I was actually able to do one so quickly :3 I'll be working on Kalithe's full body soon That way, I can begin to point-commission people

Also, since you've been following my deviations, do you like the style of painting that I use?

Well to me in a way your art first looks line-less and the way you draw it also has the appearance of oil paint, in the way done on GIMP, but I like it.

2.8? I dont even know which version I have. I know that GIMP lgs like CRAZY if I use it on a slower computer.

Thanks Charizard GIMP 2.6 worked wonders with my laptop There is no reason why 2.8 should lag the way it does. It is not a very memory-intensive program.

I dont even know what version I have... doesnt matter realy though.

Define "buggy". I had a few problems figuring out v2.8, too, but it's pretty neat to use once you get used to everything. :3

Well, it likes to switch brushes every so often and rapidly flickers until I move my cursor over the dialogue box, at which time it stops. Also, the color picker tool occasionally selects the color "Gray" (Why, I don't know) and will begin to incrementally color switch between my primary color and this gray selection... It's just weird. In addition, when I move the image around with my tablet pen, it lags like hell. It is also unable to move the canvas while drawing, which is a big pain in my arse...
