Description
How to embed a youtube video into the top of a journal using CSS. (premium members only)Step 1. Open up a journal. A blank skin works best.
Step 2. Click edit skin.
Step 3. Type the code in the description into the header.
Step 4. Put the ID of the video where 'IDGoesHere' is.
Step 5. In the CSS, write the following;
.video
{
margin:-5px -5px 20px -5px
}
And that's it! Write your journal, publish and enjoy!

Does this work if you want a youtube video embedded into a custom box on your page too or is that different?

I'm not entirely sure. However, there are tutorials for embedding to customboxes on deviantART.

Even easier:
1. Go to sta.sh/writer to start a new Journal.
2. Using the "link" feature, insert a YouTube link.
