This is stunning. It's vibrant and beautiful.
What lens did you use to take this shot? I just bought a T2i and I want to take macro shots. I don't think I have the right lens for it though. I'm fairly new at using DSLRs. I've always used a powershot.

Thank you
I had a PowerShot previously, too ^.^
I use an 18-55mm lens. Which won't take macros, unfortunately. I use a screw-on macro lens (that I had left over from my PowerShot) to do my macros. It's not great, but it does the job.
The macro lens I want is over $1,000 It has internal focusing. I suggest getting extension tubes (which I plan to buy soon) or a cheap screw-on before I suggest buying a lens. Your comparison is about $100 (give or take 50-100) for a screw-on/extension tubes to $600+ for a lens.

No problem and thank you so much! I didn't even think about doing that at all (of course I didn’t know about tubes either). Lol, I have so much to learn. An extension tube will certainly do the trick for now.
Your shots are so amazing now. I can't wait to see what they look like with a new tube or lens.
