You know these were just an experiment that I just happened to like. I think the trick for me is to not smudge the pastels. As a rule I don't like smudging dry media, It never looks very good when I do.

Well it certainly paid off! And also, that's an interesting concept. With graphite and charcoal I live off smudging honestly, but with pastel it's different. Doesn't look as nice. But thanks again and I really do love this.
