MY BIRDS

Castiel is a Racing Homer Pigeon who I bought back on June 8th. He acts a lot like a chihuahua with wings in my opinion. He is only nice to me only and attacks anyone else who tries to pet him...especially my friend, Davianna, whose hand becomes a chew toy if he gets near him. I adopted him back when he would still squeak and had his baby fuzzies here and there.

The white one I am pretty sure is a dove who I adopted from Petco about a month or so ago. (He was from Foothills Animal Shelter) I thought my Cas would need a pigeon buddy since Pigeons do better in pairs...but I was wrong. Gabriel is a lover boy who CRAVES attention and is a complete spaz when he sees you in the room. Castiel will wait quietly to open the cage while Gabriel is climbing all over the door of his cage while cooing the whole time-which gets Cas cooing as well. Gabriel loves to strut about the room with his tail feathers faned out. Gabriel I believe is scared of rain/thunder, because he cries loudly when a storm happens. Gabriel and Castiel DO NOT get a long so far, every time they get face to face, Cas tries to rip off Gabes feathers...while Gabe likes to try to groom him. The only time they can actually stand each other is when they both want to take a bath, hence why they are so calm in this photo
