Touhouvania II is the best.Hate Chen's voice though, her "グルグル！" got annoying quick.

But of course, Touhouvania's voice cast imo is some of the best for them so far. Funny enough, both Miyuki Sawashiro and Satomi Satou have voiced other Touhou characters in other fanworks.
Sawashiro did Marisa (Musou Kakyou) and Sakuya (KMJII).
Satou did Meiling (KMJII) and Reimu (Fushigi no Gensoukyou II).
I know my VA trivia all too well lol, and Sawashiro's gonna take over the world soon and will wage war with Norio Wakamoto....

Two things in Touhouvania 2 that bothered me:
1) Limited magic
2) Limited flight (always ended when I was close to safety and above damnation)
The Crissaegrim seems to vary in damage, as the Three Mischievous Fairies takes a LOT of damage from it.

Yeah the limited flight was a bit annoying at first, but it took some time to get around it.
There are many small things about this game that irk me, but overall it's great.

for the part 3 if they ever make it I wish it'd be metroidvania format with selectable / switchable main characters but alas it might not be meant to be heheh

XP, like i have uploaded the japanese language pack (so touhous have always worked for me, but some of these doujin games have just never worked..)

Okay, go to Regional and Language Options in the Control Panel, click Advanced, and change the language for non-Unicode programs to Japanese. You need to do that in order to run the game. I can't remember if there's a font you need too.

It's actual title is Koumajou Densetsu. It's fun. I don't think you need to play the first game to get an idea of what's going on, but if you want you should play it.
