It's not the water that hurts him, but certain contaminants in the water. On Irk it snows most of the year (however long that is in Irken time). And since the water on Irk is more pure, because of less polution, Irkens dont have immunity to the contaminants (and we should all know by now that the city Dib lives in is VERY dirty and gross)

For whatever reason Zim is crying this is a very beautiful piece. i adore the chemestry shown between Zim and Dib; you have managed to engage the viewer into feeling strong empathy with Zim, which greatly brings out the emotion of the art. Well done
