I drew this for a little girl I met recently, who's so sick her birthday party had to be cancelled... that's just the saddest thing I've ever heard of, so I drew this to cheer her up - her favourite animals are butterflies and horses, so this felt like the obvious combination really.

Wow! It's strange, my sister just found a bunch of her My Little Ponies from the mid 80's down in my folk's basement the other day.

I hope so too! that's quite a coincidence! - she should try selling them on Ebay y'know, there are a few collectors out there who will pay for them if they're in good nick! Failing that, charity shop or donate them to one of the amazing artists on DA who does custom jobs! - I'd like to have a go myself @ some point.. along with all the other 100 things I'd like to do with the spare time I don't have!

Oh, that's a terrible story. I missed my cousin's birthday party in hospital with a broken arm, I can't imagine how upset I would have been if it was mine. Having someone do a drawing like this would have been such a great help, so you definitely did a great thing.
Also, you have somehow injected attitude into a my little pony. That baby looks like she could kick my butt. It's something in the eye, I think. It's a cool thing.

I'm doing alright, I am happier than i have been for a while for some reason, but I am very nervous about my music college audition on the 11th *shakes*
Hehe, thanks, I have been attempting to digitally colour, and for once I can say for sure that I'm improving, especially considering the circumstances under which i coloured it

yeah not too bad thanks.. picked up the mother-of-all malwares last week, so was out of computer land for a few days while my pc was broken

I have no idea how I got it mate.. I'm normally very careful with these things, and at the time I was running 2 virus protection programs and neither of them picked it up.. my only advice would be get hold of some malware protection now (like malwarebytes or something) so that it will catch it before it becomes a problem if you do bump into it. My problem was that I tried to install these programs after I'd contracted it, and the clever bugger basically disabled my ability to install them!

Wow, that's a crafty little piece of malware. I actually have NO virus protection at all, it slows my laptop down so much... i don't think it's worth it.

you might want to try looking up a site like trend micro's house-call sometime then, it's an on-line VX scanner, where you have a little download to start with but then the rest is done on their website - it's not going to keep you safe while you're not using it, but running something like that once or twice a month would be better than having no VX protection at all \:]

well that's the beauty of it, - you can just set it up to run a scan when you're not going to be using it for a while. - because there's no software actually on your machine all the time, taking up your processor power, it wont slow it down. \:]
