I fixed up my wig and necklace for a photoshoot last Saturday, and this was the first picture that really caught my eye. I love the lighting, *ocwajbaum is really great with how he lights his photos. I forgot my sash for the entire photoshoot, though...deeerp.
Costume (Horo, Spice & Wolf) made and worn by me.

So used to your game-centric cosplays that I forgot you covered some animes-- like "Spice and Wolf"! Lighting is beautiful and certainly accent your cosplay and features well. Serene Horo here!

I do (very rarely) cosplay from anime or tv shows...I need to make more so people actually know who I am at cons.

Really? I figure that game-centric cosplays are fairly well-recognized and get fair representation at Anime cons-- particularly from Metroid or Metal Gear. Now that I think about it, majority of my cosplays are game-based.
Though of course, it doesn't hurt to have variety, and you're welcome!

Nintendo series and a few other titles are well-recognized, but there's a lot of Western stuff that goes under the radar. In fact, the only MGS character that is recognized by non-MGS fans is Snake, and that's because of Brawl. It's kind of sad since they're missing out on some great games.
