Made on Art Academy Home Studio. Also first time using Pastels in the app

Here we have Ruby in her giant kraken form fighting against Nerisa (Chelsie). When I saw the trailers and saw the movie, I knew I had to draw that scene.

Ruby was pretty easy to draw even in her giant kraken form. Nerisa on the other hand, she got way too much detail, the water hair was really weird to work with and I think I kinda screwed up the traident.

It's kinda funny and sad thinking about it from Twitter. I had a comment saying that this was one of the only fanarts that actually depicts the 2 fighting, as oppose to the countless fanarts of them being in love. It's amazing how people are focus more on the shipping as oppose to the canon, and the violence.

Speaking of, even though the movie flopped in theaters, I hope it does well enough via streaming and DVD/Blueray for Dreamworks to reconsider doing a sequal. I love me some magical girl, kaijus and cartoon violence.
