"da hairmap" is a file i created back in 2016 to start modelling hairstyles for yandere simulator based on a similar file druelbozo had, i really liked the idea so i copied it. Anyways, it's december of 2016 and i have already made 2 models, one day i thought about modelling some more while in school and did it when i got home, i made my 3rd hair model and finished her within 5 hours, which was a huge update from my previous hairs that each took me months. i realised how much fun it was to me, so i set up the hair map and modelled more and more, i hoped to one day be an amazing modeller with hundreds of hairstyles that i can look back at and see how much i improved and changed over time. Obviously i wouldn't only stick to hairstyles, but it's nice to kind of have this linear path of improvements over time and be able to look back and think about the models. What did i do on that day after making the hair? Was i talking to someone after making the model? Its just always great to look back. And now, today on the 6th of march 2019 the map is officially to full to work properly, it has become to cluttered and keeps being buggy, so now i made a new file that i will continue to model on, but it is making me a bit sad to leave this friendo behind that was there for me 24/7 when i wanted to model, and over the past 2 and a half years it has seen so much change. But it is time to move on to new modelling adventures and i wanted to pay a little tribute to da hairmap by posting a little screenshot of it with almost every hair i made for the aoi base by Game Asset Studios. (i know you can't see much, but i can't visibly show everyting, plus i wanna save a few models for follower goals so i have something interesting to post)
