“You, Pietro Maximoff, are a menace!” You say with a laugh as Pietro sets you down on the couch in his basement.
“And you, [First Name] [Last Name], are an enabler.” He responds, ruffling your [Hair Color] hair. You laugh and stick your tongue out at him, but you don’t deny it. Ever since you realized that Pietro was like you, the two of you have been wreaking havoc together.

Earlier that day, you had been using your power of light manipulation to make a laser pointer and target things for Pietro to take. It started out simple: A pencil on the floor, an eraser at the edge of a desk... but the stakes had slowly been raised. You didn’t think he would actually be daring enough to take something out of a person’s hand! Of course, he proved you wrong. By the time the teacher realized anything was amiss, Pietro had reappeared in his seat and tucked the chalk into his pocket.

Pietro tossed the stick of chalk onto the coffee table and collapsed onto the couch beside you.
“I’m bored, [Name], let’s do something.”
You didn’t tell him that you were doing something as you rearranged the shadows on his face. You also didn’t tell him that you were trying to find a light that he didn’t look good in.

“What do you want to do? You refuse to play Pong with me.” You asked, leaning back in your seat.
“You cheat every time, [First Name]. Using your powers to black out my screen is not fair.” You laugh.
“And I refuse to play ping pong with you.”
“Because you’re slow and you can’t win.”
“Yeah, yeah. Whatever, Pietro. Those are the main two things we do around here, so looks like you’re going to have to be bored.”

You blinked and Pietro was leaning over you, one hand beside your head on the arm of the couch.
“We could play chicken.” He offered. The devilish smirk on his face set your heart aflutter, but his eyes were challenging you, daring you. You never turned down a dare. Your nod of confirmation was all he needed. He placed his free hand on your cheek, stroking your bottom lip with his thumb.

“Are you nervous?” He asked, his voice high and clear. The game had begun. You shook your head and he continued. This was a game you and Pietro played often. The two of you hovered on the fine line of your friendship and something more. There were feelings there that had always been left unsaid, but one of you always chickened out before this game got anywhere. He leaned closer, his breath stirring the wisps of hair on your forehead.

“Are you nervous?” You shook your head and his chuckle sounded impossibly deep. This was where you always backed out. This was the part that scared you away. Normally there were more steps, incremental movements towards you that sometimes barely registered. Today, this wasn’t about the game, however. It was about the two of you and the cliff you were standing on. You could feel his breath across your lips now.

“Are you nervous?” He asked, the words brushing gently over your lips as a prelude. You took a shuddering breath and closed your eyes.
“No.” You whispered. Pietro’s lips crashed against yours and you slid your hands into his hair, pulling him to you. The line between best friends and something more dissolved and you and he took the dive off that cliff. There was no more dancing around each other nervously anymore. This was it. He nipped at your bottom lip and you opened your mouth, allowing his tongue to enter. He tasted like sugar and whipped cream and you felt intoxicated by his kiss alone as he took your breath away. The lights in the room flickered as you melted into the kiss. Pietro would have laughed if you weren’t pulling him back down to you.

He pressed a kiss into the curve of your neck and smiled against your skin. He whispered something that sounded a lot like finally and pulled you so that you were laying against his chest.
“If you’ll be my girlfriend, I’ll let you beat me at Ping Pong.” He said teasingly, running his fingers through your hair.
“Hmm... As long as you don’t expect me to let you win Pong.” You said, grinning up at him. Pietro chuckled and captured your lips in a sweet kiss.
“It’s a deal.”
