Description I figured, what with having seen the 1975 kiddie literary series The Letter People, to a lesser extent as a preschooler, and more nowadays... well, I figured there should be an extended squoosh box, starting or ending.

REASON FOR IDEA: to fit three letter boys (or, in the case of the "SQU-" starting squoosh, two letter boys and a letter girl: Mister S, Mister Q, and Miss U [who is acting as an assistant for Mister Q]) in, in words such as "script," "scream," "lunch," and... although, as shown in episode 45 ("Meet Mister Q"), Mister Q and Miss U share a regular clue box, "square." I doubt any more than two letter boys would have fit in a regular squoosh box.

REASON FOR THE WAY IT LOOKS: It has the zigzags to indicate that it is a squoosh box, but as shown in episodes 47 ("Chewy Cherry Choo Choo"), 48 ("The Thing"), and 49 ("WH and SH"), Mister H refuses to squoosh with anyone out of fear of getting cuts, including haircuts (despite having been told that haircuts don't hurt), so he makes one digraph with Mister C (in words like "chocolate," "cheese," and "chair"), two with Mister T (in words like "thirsty" and "than"), one with Mister S (in words like "she" and "shawl"), and one with Mister W (in words like "whip" and "whether"), but in words like "three" (where he's not very likely to have problems due to being between two consonants), "lunch," "Welsh," "tenth," and "gulch," he'd have no choice because despite making new digraphs, he and either partner would squoosh with a regular consonant sound (thus, with a third letter boy), but with the zigzags between two layers of smooth edges (like in a regular clue box), he wouldn't have felt them and risked a single cut.

REGULAR WORDS USED:

SCRIPT: S, C, and R are in the Extended Starting Squoosh Box, I is in the Catching Clue Box, and holding up a breve (the short vowel sign), and P and T are in the Ending Squoosh Box (with a badge of cooperation to indicate that the vowel in the Catching Clue Box is making its short sound).

LAUNCH: L is in the Starting Clue Box, and A and U are in the Divided Catching Clue Box, and N, C, and H are in the Extended Ending Squoosh Box.

SQUEAK: S, Q, and U are in the Extended Starting Squoosh Box (though Q and U share a regular Clue Box), E is in the Catching Clue Box, holding up a macron (the long vowel sign), A is between the Catching and Ending Clue Boxes with a slash through it, indicating that the A is silent, and the E will make its long sound... and K is in the Ending Clue Box.

NOTE: Just for fun, I added two of those "Runaway Words." I came up with "plaid" and "child" because, respectively, in "plaid," there are two vowels, but the first one is saying its short sound, and in "child," there is only one vowel, and there is cooperation ("L" and "D" at the end), but that vowel is using its long sound.

Any questions or corrections?

If Mr. P and Mr. H go together, they make the "ph" sound as in the word, "phone".

That would just be a regular clue box for that one.

Right you are. In fact, that's where I got the idea.
