Redrawing old art and trying out new brushes is really the best thing to do when artists like myself are stuck with the cursed art block. I know I say this a lot when ever I post redrawn work but this time I really mean it when I say that this is my best work by far, and painting the background really taught me a lot about shading and texturing that will help with my paintings in the long run.
