Very inspiring. Forms and colours and idea go along very well. Your world is more beautiful than the real one.Β

This is beautiful, I like the intensity of the colors, the different kinds of treatment in respect to the contours and the composition in general.

Blunch means breakfast and lunch put together...the owl is swooping on its prey but if you look at the painting it morphs into a baby ostrich having a ladybug for its first meal...ty for the fave

Chimeral! Just too beautyful! It has such a divinity, yet a raw, even predatory, nature, that really accords to what you intented to portray. I'm more than impressed!

I realized you have a special care while talking about this piece. Sure is not easy to let go of a child of ours, but I'm also sure you're glad about it taking the world outside.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at, but I like the psychedelic feel this has. Must have taken a while to paint.

Thanks...the general subject matter is that the hawk is coming down to get the ladybug but if you look at it in a different way is is a baby ostrich ruffling its feathers after swallowing its first ladybug...ironically the lady bug is accepting her reality and going out like a lady...she has a blissfully proud look one her face as she slips into the next realm...it was a fast painting to do...

Ty...Blunch is a play of words for breakfast and lunch...this hawk swooping down after the lady bug can also be viewed as the baby ostrich which is fluffing his feather after eating his first lady bug...the comical part is that the lady bug is going out looking like a lady...welcoming her new journey...hope that helps...lol
