There's an intriguing atavistic quality to your paintings. Like natural spiritualism, sensual and intoxicating.
So says a grimey city boy brought up in concrete.

Hahaha Thanks very much. Erstwhile, I have certainly prostituted my "art" in order to make a buck or two. But it leaves "you" somewhat disatisfied once the money has blown. Better to paint what you Love or what are compelled to do. I spent a few years painting children and animal portraits for money,(Not rude ones!) but it drove me mad after a while and I binned all copies cos I couldn't bear to look at them anymore.
You seem to be building up an oeuvre of Love.
Keep building!

The colours and flow of this are something like a well thought out song or rhythmical dance. It's beautiful to look at, and your eyes just follow the shapes and curves making this feel alive. I really like this a lot.

Ohhh, so beautyful! I believe is one of the richest paintings over yours I saw until now. Rich in details, in colors, in expression...
The way she seems to be moving, and remaining unmoved, as if things are passing through and beyond her, passing just for her amusement... I think I guessed what the title meant there, right?
I know it's probably not inspired on that, but reminds me how carnaval is in Brazil. The costumes, people passing by and the schools of samba presenting themselves... and quite appropriated, since it starts this saturday.

Hehehehe, thank you... but she's not THAT dressed, it's kinda like the masquerades of old... reminds me when I used to aprecciate carnaval more, when it were a simpler and, to some degree, more popular thing.

I'm not a big fan of costumes, but many people do. Many parties happen in different parts of the city, but as the turism is high the charges are also enormous. Myself, I like to roam through the city with some friends, going to the local, popular celebrations. But sure is fun, as we say around here, the year begin only after carnaval.
