We don't stand for this "MOSC" crap in this house
Mirage arrived safely Thursday night. I took the first opportunity I could to shoot this because I wanted that box open. Why did I ever script a comic where he needed to be in the package? I apparently like to torture myself. I will say though, that while a scalpel is not the easiest nor the most efficient way of opening a toy package, it is certainly the most fun
I've got some paying work I need to finish up this weekend and some lizard tanks to clean, but I'm going to try and finish the last parts of "Give him a hand" before I do any Mirage centered comics (because if I don't they'll never get done XD). But I'll be taking lots of pictures of him anyway to practice

Hehe yeah. There's an introductory period before I know their quirks. They're never quiiiiite like their actual selves. Something about the packaging stasis must do it to them. *nodnod*

I think this is my favorite of all your photo comics...it's so adorable!
I'm so glad there is a collector out there who buys the toys and frees them! I have a few hard to find toys, and I knew that they would be hard to find - but I got them out of their box asap.
I like rescuing the poor broken toys on ebay and fixing them, I'm currently waiting on an Ironhide that's in good condition besides his broken arm. Superglue should fix him right up

I do that too! I rescue them from flea markets and such though... I don't tend to buy broken things off eBay, because they tend to be expensive regardless of breakage. But now and then I get lucky at a flea market/thrift store and come away with a treasure like TFA Blurr and Classics Octane
I have a few spares still in their boxes (and a Blazing Lockdown who, don't laugh, I'm actually a little afraid to open... He looks scary!). Sometimes I wait to open new toys to keep myself from rushing off to buy more right away, but eventually they will all be free

The Ironhide I'm getting off of ebay fully transforms, his arm is just snapped off and the person doesn't know how to fix it. Usually though, this guy goes for $40. I got him for $10
I haven't had the chance to scrounge flea markets, but the college I go to has SO many antique stores that surround the area, I bet I can find one somewhere!
My first Transformer out of the box was ROTF Optimus...who is quite testy. He's got a major jealous streak...ever since then, I've been grabbing them when I have the chance and when I find them cheap

Well, there's the Delicate Warrior Arcee third party figure ... she's like 110$ but she's so lovely, there's no way I'd keep her in a package if I ever got her (though she is a knockoff, so maybe she doesn't count). Even MP Grimlock I'd take out to play with. The only toy I have kept in the package is my Red Alert backup, in case something happens to my current Red. But I'm not sure that counts either.

You got a Classics Mirage!!! 
I do have some MIB Transformers, mostly because I got them as backups. I might eventually sell them just so they get played with. It bothers me knowing they're in the basement. But at least they're with each other, and I figure as long as they're in the packaging, they're in stasis.

Oh, he is! He's so posable, it's so much fun to get him to emote. The first night he was out, I had him balancing on my knee while I was drawing.
Backups are probably good to have. I've been considering getting a back-up Red Alert, just in case my poor Red breaks for good. Can't tell him that, though

Red was really excited about 'Raj coming. He was fretting even worse than I was. Of course, now that he's actually here, I'm sure it won't be long until Red starts getting jealous of all the attention I've been giving him.
Congrats! Prowl is a sweet-looking toy. Having him and Optimus around might make it easier to control the babies

Don't worry, Thundercracker is in the mail! I think he is the best choice anyway ... the wrong Seeker might turn Thrust "bad" again and he's actually been very well-behaved lately. But I don't think Thundercracker will care much for that anyway. I'm looking forward to when he gets here

Nah ... my Thrust is actually just a huge suck-up. He likes the attention and being important way too much. He already gets to hold my brushes for me while I paint, so it's kind of his "job" now. I guess with no other Decepticons around, he forgets he's supposed to be bad. Bad robots don't get cookies in my house
