I drew a little sketch of these two a while back, and suddenly the combination of *batchix 's ridiculously hot robots and this song being stuck in my head for three days resulted in one of those ideas that literally forces you to draw it. I sketched this in under an hour, and then inked it by hand the next day. It's a rush job and full of flaws, but I still enjoy looking at it.

These two are not really characters of any kind ... they sort of float around in my head and occasionally make me draw stuff. I decided their names are Tommy and Gina. Props if you get the reference.

The song is "Lover Man", sung by Billie Holiday, circa 1941 [link]
I had to look it up, because the version that got stuck in my head is literally from the two lines of it sung by Cynthia Gibb in Short Circuit 2.
